Tiger Woods confirmed he will not play the PNC Championship the week before Christmas, marking the first time he and Charlie will not play until 2020.
Woods, speaking before the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, announced the first aspects of the TLG, including some topics including some topics that are current.
The 15-time major champion began with an update on his health after asking how his recovery is going.
"It's not as fast as I would like," said the Jupiter Island resident."It's good that things happened as they should have happened, but the rehabilitation process takes some time and dedication."
Woods, who turns 50 on Dec. 30, was recently cleared to chip and putt.He said it wouldn't be fair to Charlie or any other team that could qualify for PNC if they were to compete in the Dec. 20-21 event in Orlando.
"It would be unfair not only to my son, but also to another team that can play with the experience we have gained for a few years now," he said.
