Against one of the NFL's best offenses, the Texans showed why they have the No. 1 ranked defense, sacking Josh Allen eight times and forcing three fumbles in a 23-19 win.
HOUSTON - Texans - The Texans took over the Jan. 1 defense on Thursday afternoon.
The contest is a battle of one of the best offenses against the best defense.Led by MVP quarterback Josh Allen, the Bills are fourth in points (29.2) and are coming off a 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where Allen claimed six touchdowns.And Houston's defense allowed the fewest points (16.4) and yards (258) per game.
But the Texans' defense stopped the Bills' offense, twice, which was a big deal for Buffalo Squalter (two interceptions and one in the game.
Houston's defensive backs didn't hold back their thoughts on where this unit compares to the rest of the league after another strong performance.
