Max Crosby Business Rumors: Eagles in Business Now?

Now that Max Crosby will not be a member of the Baltimore Ravens after their disappointing trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, the question is: Where will he play in 2026?

Are the attackers really going to keep it?This situation seems questionable. They have clearly expressed an interest in moving forward. And Crosby has expressed interest in asking.

So what to do now?

Are the Philadelphia Eagles involved?

This makes sense from a logical point of view. The Birds were reportedly interested in keeping Jaylon Phillips before signing him to a four-year, $120 million contract with the Carolina Panthers. They were also said to have offered Trey Hendrickson before he signed with the aforementioned Ravens.

The Eagles clearly feel they need more help in the pass rush.

Crosby could be the answer.

And there are some rumblings that a deal could be on the way.

Below is Seattle Seahawks podcaster Dan Vance (who does the show with my good friend Rob "Stats" Guerra, who is voicing for Dan):

Seahawks sources say Howie is a race to lose, but Schneider has contacted the Raiders.Stay still.https://t.co/1fZFQL5BV9

It's not hard to imagine getting Howie Roseman for less than what Crosby is paying. The Raiders don't have two first-round picks now that they're apparently willing to deal Crosby and there are some questions about his medical status after failing a physical. Not to mention the fact that Crosby's market has dwindled as other teams fill their need for running backs.

That being said, the Raiders still have a very good player that teams want to get.So it's not like his price drops to a Day 3 pick. And if that happens, the Raiders might just keep him at that point.

I can see the Eagles being willing to pick up a first round pick if they believe they are getting one back in exchange for A.J.Brown at some point.Maybe a first round pick and a second round pick now done? Two second round picks with one condition raised after the first?

A notable factor going for the Eagles is that they have several ties to the Raiders front office.Las Vegas general manager John Spytek worked in Philly from 2005-2009.Raiders vice president of player operations Brandon Hunt worked in Philly from 2022 to 2024.Raiders senior personnel executive Anthony Patch worked in Philly from 2002-2024.The Raiders' Roseman and ability to trust the Eagles could be important, especially after getting burned by the Ravens.

At the very least, Roseman should (and probably should) be paid in the Crosby job now.

Should the Eagles do whatever it takes to get there?
