IU Athletics Hosts College Football Playoff National Championship Party at Simon Skjodt Auditorium

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- IU Athletics invites IU students, alumni and Hoosier fans to gather in the Simon Skjodt Auditorium on Monday, Jan. 19 for the official IU watch party as Coach Curt Cignetti's IU Football team takes on the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

All participants require a free digital ticket for entry.From 21.50.13.All free digital tickets have been picked up in January and we are at full capacity.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.m.and the game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.m.All seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.The game will be broadcast live on each of the four screens on the scoreboard mounted in the center of the arena, and IU Athletics will hand out 10,000 commemorative towels to fans as they enter the arena.

"We are excited to offer an opportunity for those unable to make the trip to Miami to share this experience with fellow Hoosiers," said Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson.

Normal matchday rules, including a clear bag policy, apply to watch parties.Concession stands and the Simon Skjodt IU Team Store will also be open starting at 6 p.m.

All participants will need a free digital ticket for entry, and by 9:50 am on January 13, all free digital tickets have been claimed and capacity has been reached.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the game starts at 7:30 p.m.All seats are general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.The game will be broadcast live on four screens in the center field scoreboard, and IU Athletics will hand out 10,000 commemorative Raleigh towels to fans as they enter the field.

"We are excited to give those who cannot visit Miami an opportunity to share this experience with our Hoosier fans," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson.

Latino sports communication, including the clear design of the bag, will be held during the police party.Concession stands and meeting Team IU Shop Simon Skjodt will also start at 6 p.m.
