An independent group accused FIFA president Gianni Infantino of breaking the organization's rules.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has been accused of violating his own organization’s rules on political neutrality after he invented a new award and promptly gave it to his “close friend” Donald Trump last week ahead of the United States hosting its first World Cup in decades.

FairSquare, a nonprofit organization that says it works to "prevent sports organizations from contributing to harm and suffering," filed a formal complaint with FIFA's ethics committee this week over what it called "repeated violations" of the organization's neutrality law by Infantino, The Athletic first reported.

The color of the complaint was that the professional coach of the team was not found, there was a leftfino and the situation that passed without the approval of AFIN.

FairSquare called on FIFA's Ethics Committee to investigate how Trump was awarded the award and also pointed to several other times Infantino has publicly expressed his support for Trump, including an Instagram post on Inauguration Day in which the FIFA leader said he and Trump would "not only make America great again, but also the world."

Fairsquare said Infantino "does not have the right to dictate the organization's mission, strategic direction, policy and ethics" and said the Peace Prize case was just the latest way he had acted "in a way that is dangerous and directly against the interests of the most popular sport in the world".

Arbinow did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.

Receiving the award that "awarded the award to a political leader who sits in it is a clear violation of FIFA in a letter to the committee.
