How did the Denver Broncos stack up against the Las Vegas Raiders on an individual level?

From Broncos Player Notes Win Over Raiders

In this article:

The Denver Broncos dominated the Las Vegas Raiders for the second straight season - controlling the game from start to finish. The Broncos showed some flaws, especially on defense, despite what the box score showed, but the offense turned in a complete game.

Denver needs to strengthen this defense for what's to come on the schedule, while its offense continues to build and grow into something special. If the Broncos can figure out how to do it on both sides of the ball, the sky is the limit for this team.

Against the Raiders, the Broncos scored well on both sides of the ball. The more interesting thing this week is the number of snaps, as Troy Franklin fell short of the mark and four other receivers did.

Couldn't believe that all three have made three classes, even if they are different. So let's get into it.

Offense: RJ.Harvey |RB |Grade: 78.9

The rookie running back repeated 100 yards from rushing for the first time in his young career. It was a perfect game from Harvey, who has come a long way as a blocker in recent games.

Defense: Alex Symbolton |LB |Rating: 75.8

Trenyton had a bad start to the season, but his play has picked up in recent games, especially given what he faced in the last game against the Pirates.Denver got a great deal on Treston, who is an undrafted free agent and could be the line for something big, whether it comes from Denver or somewhere else.

Bo Nix |Vasega: 65.4

Knicks was a game manager in Vegas, which isn't a bad thing considering how the offense played.Denver had some long drives with the Knicks playing cleanly and efficiently, at least when things are clicking offensively and defensively, which is what the Broncos need.

Quinn Meineerz |Rg |Ipele: 74.3

The guard is working his way up to the pro bowl and pro selection, and his performance against the Raiders only adds to his resume. There were a few hiccups, but meinerz was good in all but a handful of games.

Zach Allen |DL |Class: 73.9

The Broncos' star reliever is playing well, which is a welcome development after his lackluster performance against Washington.Even though Allen has been as dominant as he's been in recent weeks, he still has three wins.

Mike McGlinchey | RT | IPEL: 73.5

McGllingey had the hardest time controlling Mohammed Crosby, and he did an excellent job of limiting his pressure. With only three interceptions allowed, McGllingey also left more games as a defender as he was assigned to protect Crosby in the game.

Dre Greenlaw |LB |Grado: 72.6

Both Denver linebackers had a good game, with Greenlaw flying around the field and constantly being involved.Greenlaw's stats don't look great, but the tape clearly shows his impact.

Lil' Jordan Humphrey |WR|Level: 70,2

Humphrey made a big impact as an outside blocker and showed why Sean Payton keeps him around. In addition, Humphrey showed what he has already shown as a receiver, with the ability to get open and the reliability to make a play when needed.

Ja'quan McMillian |CB |Rank: 68.7

A lot of people don't get in, but you're the only one in front of you, and McMillin handles his tasks. He stood out against the outside run several times.

Alex Palczewski |Lg |Rank: 31.6

The Broncos are ready to bring Ben Powers back from injured reserve soon, and they could use him. There is a glaring weakness on the offensive line that has been problematic in recent games, so while Palszewski has done an admirable job, it's time to bring him back as the sixth lineman. However, Frank Krumm did a good job filling that space.

Evan Engram |Too |Grid: 38.7

Engram played the fewest snaps at tight end, and that stems from his ineptitude as a blocker.Denver has been trying to get him involved in the running game all season, but outside of the Chiefs, it hasn't been enough. With Denver running out of time, it was easy to pull Engram due to the blocking issues he created.

Eyioma Uwazurike |dl |vähre: 41.6

With D.J.Jones out, Uwazurike got an increased workload and struggled with it.He had some good plays, including a near-perfect one, but he struggled to finish them.He also looked dazed at the end of the game.

UJohn Franklin-Myers |DL |Daraja: 47.6

Franklin-Myers made an impact as a pass rusher, albeit a limited one.Unfortunately, his struggles as a run defender were evident against the Raiders, despite the teams success in run defense.

Marvin Mims Jr.|WR |Character: 47.6

Special teams are not included, which is a shame because Mims has a unique shot called the breakdown. As revenge, a play is created, but Dreane has difficulty finding explosives while in the field.

Brownon Jones ||uta: 49.4

While Jones was outstanding for Denver in 2024, he had a number of issues this year, some of which stemmed from usage.Denver must find a way to get Jones back to playing at a high level, as he appears to be the most vulnerable target for opposing offenses.

Other effects

Luke Wattenberg |c |Rate: 70.1

The height was Denver's best in two games since the end.Wathtebg looked more like a player in the last two games than he did in the first 22 of the year.

Patrick Surtain II |CB |Grad: 63.3

There were some penalty issues, but Shiet was more focused than usual. When he was sacked by Brock Bock, he took him out of the game, allowing only one play for the other he was covering.

Adam Prentice |FB |Character: 63.2

I should have included a preview here.He was critical to the Rocos' offensive success.

Riley Moss |CB |Rate: 60.2

Moss was a blocked corner until he wasn't anymore. He made a critical mistake on the Raiders' final touchdown, getting beaten for waiting for help when he shouldn't have.In three games and two missed passes, he went from the second-highest defender in the game to the 10th.
