Lando Norris topped the charts during Friday's only practice session for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, ahead of McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and Kick Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg.

McLARen duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piaisti got very close during the Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend.
Lando Norris led the hours in a practice session on Friday for the Sao Paulo Grand, leading the McLenen Team Oscualberg team.
In the return of the sprint format for the fifth time this season, drivers and teams had just one hour of practice to familiarize themselves with the track and set up their cars before sprint qualifying took place later in the day.
Unsurprisingly, this led to a line of cars forming at the end of pit lane starting just after 11.30am local time, with the entire 20-man field beginning their practice sessions on the hard compound tyres.

Although Tsunoda managed to recover and return to the pits, it was a flurry in his weekend, with those working to spend some practice time fixing the car.
After all the drivers managed to win, Mercedes 'George Russell led with a time of 1m 11.188, hoping for world judges Maintappen, Maxan Carlos Sainz of William and two.

Piastri was just a few hundredths of a second behind his team-mate in P2 as the pair continue their battle for the Drivers' Championship title, with mate Verstappen looking to join them before retiring from his final run on soft tyres.
Kick Sauber got off to a good start to the weekend, with Hulkenberg and favorite Gabriel Bortoletto finishing third and fifth respectively behind Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin.
Russell returned to sixth after his initial stint at the front on the hard tyres, just half a second behind Sainz, Hadjar, Mercedes team-mate Antonelli and Liam Lawson in the other Racing Bulls car.
Alex Albon finished 12th in his Williams ahead of Haas duo Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, Lance Stroll's Aston Martin, newly signed Alpine driver Franco Colapinto and the aforementioned Verstappen, who didn't have a representative time on the board.
It was a crucial session for FERRARI, with Charles Le Clerc and Vallon Hamilton on their podium finishes in P18 and P19 respectively, just ahead of Sonoda.
Riders and teams will now retire to the Redrous paddock and consider any kit changes before taking to the track again for SPREint, which is due to resume at 3.30pm local time.
