Doubt is the start of the second half until the 2025 season, week 8 brought useful results.
Louisville drew runner-up Miami on Friday night.Georgia survived an affair with OLE Miss on Saturday as warnings started everything.
As always, there were a few missing, but some did the job.
Then, in the prime time window, the trio of Alabama, BY and Notre Dame picked up key rivalry wins.

Dry: Memphis' road to the CFP

Winner: Notre Dame's backfield

A night filled with 10-of-11 contests ended with 15th-ranked BYU defending its unblemished record against in-state foe Utah.
Looking at the 24-21 final, it may not give the impression of an offensive-heavy game.However, Utah gained 470 yards and BYU gained 368 yards.
The problem was that both offenses committed three turdains on downs.And the game-defining problem for Utah was that a fumble and an interception led to 10 points, including byu's late touchdown that signed byu's late touchdown which signed the result.
The big attack is the goal. All it takes is enough offense.
BYU played with fire in the 12th quarter, but the 7-0 teams still found ways to win.
Loser - Hugh Frost

But, you have to win sometimes, AU often comes up short.Auburn couldn't connect in the playoffs against Oklahoma and Texas and Texas A & M. The call was made and Georgia stuck in the woodwork, and that was tough.
Diree is now 1-12 against top 25 opponents. Don't expect him to get fired on Sunday, but Auburn can't afford to be too patient.
