One very familiar to them in Carson Wentz, the former prodigy whom the Eagles drafted No. 2 overall in 2016, who was on pace to be named MVP in 2017 before tearing his ACL, then saw his backup in Nick Foles become a folk hero to lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl victory.
