AP Poll Prediction: Projected Top 25 Rankings After College Football Week 11
The final third of the season is winding down, giving us one last chance to shake up the college playoff picture before the season ends. The top 25 at this point is a pretty solid indicator of where you stand.
Saturday's schedule didn't include many ranked games aside from the matchup between BYU and Texas Tech. However, there was enough action that the polls will have some fluctuations this week.
A lot to digest.Today, it breaks down some of the expected changes in this week's Top AP 25.Let's take a look at our predictions for the latest edition of the top football picks below.
1. Ohio State Buckeyes (9-0)
Result: 34-10 win at Purdue
After a slow start, Ohio State scored 24 points in the second quarter and took complete command on the road at Purdue.Quarterback Julian Sain threw just six completions, albeit one interception, en route to 303 yards and a touchdown.
Ohio State continues to cruise and shouldn't offer much of a true test over the next two weeks. The next two are home and home before the regular season finale at Michigan.
2. Indiana Hoosier (10-0)
Result: 27-24 win at Penn State.
Indiana was pushed to the brink at Penn State but when it needed its biggest star, Fernando Mendoza and Omar Cooper Jr.were there to answer the bell for Cooper's crazy toe kick with 36 seconds left to help put Indiana ahead for good.
As with Ohio State, the next two shouldn't really be a problem.Indiana faces Wisconsin and then travels to Purdue before a trip to the Big Ten Championship Game.
3. Texas A&M Aggies (9-0)
Result: 38-17 victories in Missouri
Texas A&M made sure it was ready to play from the jump against a Missouri team that needed to break down a backup quarterback.Matt Zollers was out of rhythm all day in the Aggies' win.He went 7-22 for 77 yards and failed to find the Tigers' end zone.
For Texas A&M, it's a win over a friend.Only one of the 25 teams left, and it won't arrive until the end of the season in Texas. Now it's just a matter of protecting businesses to come down to South Carolina and Samford first.
4. Alabama Red Full (8-1)
Score: 20-9 win against lsu
Alabama could be tough, as many expected against LSU.Tigers PAGERORK faced some pressure on Ty Simpson, but he was more than competitive.
Alabama has the next game.It will face Oklahoma at home, but will have a bye week soon. That could be an important factor.Mind you, Auburn only stands in the way of a regular season finale playoff berth.
5. I-Georgia Bulldogs (8-1)
Result: 41-21 win over Mississippi State
One quarter of the game was a close game.In fact, the Starkville Bulldogs actually took the lead in the first inning. The Athens Bulldogs then scored 21 points in the second quarter to take the lead.
Quarterback Gunner Stockton put together a great afternoon. He threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns while adding 31 rushing yards.Next up is a home date with Texas.
6. Oregon Duck (8-1)
Result: 18-16 Iowa win
Both Rainy and Rainy struggled to get quality offense into the game. But Dante Moor had to be late on the final drive to fit the final drive. And Oregon survived.

There are two more top-25 opponents on the schedule, but that might have been the biggest catch.Next up is a home date with Minnesota before games with USC and ranked Washington to close out the year.
7. Ole Miss Rebels (9-1)
The result: a 49-0 win over the Citadel
It was a good run from the jump for the Rebels, who led 35-0 at the half, and went from there.Start Trinidad Trinidad Chambliss hit for 333 points and three touchdowns.
In fact, the game was so lopsided that one of the returning starters, Austin Simmons, was able to make a comeback. He threw for 100 yards on 7 of 12 passing, even though he was sacked once.Despite this, keeping options at the position is a big problem for Ole Miss. Next up is a home date with Florida, with all Top 25 opponents looking well in the rearview mirror.
8. Texas Tech Red Raiders (9-1)
Result: 29-7 win vs. BYU
With ESPN's College Gameday in town and all eyes on the Red Raiders, they rallied and performed in a big way.The defense threw a shutout in the fourth quarter before finally getting the victory, but by then the game was well underway.
It was a decent win for Texas Tech, which threw for 259 yards and ran for 149 in the win.Quarterback Schonson shows he'll step in well, which is a huge bonus for the program going forward. Now just taking care of business. No top 25 opponents in the past.
9. Notre Dame fights the Irish (7-2)
RESULTS: 49-10 win over Navy
It took a while, but the floodgates finally opened for Notre Dame in the game against NavyAnd with enough cushion on the scoreboard, the navy style of football is unlikely to make it a truly close game.
CJ Carr once again sprung Irinkin to fight back, while Jereni Uthando turned into another phase of the exit for many teams.Harry Dame, is now 25 to show Pittsburgh's 25 on the page.It will be a road game and should be a very bad test.
10. Oklahoma Sooners (7-2)
Oklahoma had a day off this week after a big road win against Tennessee. This win was huge. This allowed the University of Oklahoma to survive in the College Football Playoff and add a lot of oomph to their resume. Now the Sooners are in the range.
Now, Oklahoma still has to take care of business. And there's still plenty of top 25 left. The first is a big trip with Tuscaloosa to Alabama. Then there are games against Missouri and LSU.
