The Paraguay, Australia and the winner of a Uefa playoff with Turkey, Romania, Slovakia and Kosovo in the group stage of the United States will meet Paratuay, Australia.

"We've played against Paraguay and Australia recently so we know, being very new and fourth, it's against a very good team in Europe," he said.
"I think we have to be optimistic, but knowing the teams, we'll see what happens in a few months.
"We have to show respect to our opponents but we can't win before we play. That will be our message to the players. We have to compete better than Paraguay; it will be tough. We have to be strong in our beliefs and think big, but we have to be motivated to play these guys [in the group stage], it will be really tough."
The United States reached the semifinals of the first World Cup in 1930 and only reached the quarterfinals one other time, in 2002.
As co-hosts, the United States was seeded in Pot 1, avoiding fellow top seeds Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, as well as fellow hosts Canada and Mexico.
