Christian Barmore of the New England Patriots was charged with assault and battery against a family member in a domestic violence case, one day after disturbing allegations against Stefon Diggs.
Another New England Patriots star is in legal trouble.
Just one day after it was revealed that Stefon Diggs was charged with disorderly conduct, Christian Barmore is charged with assault.
Barmore, according to court records obtained by Fox News Digital, is accused of assaulting a person he was in a relationship with in Mansfield, Massachusetts, in August.

The alleged victim said she and Barmore were arguing over room temperature and food.
Barmore allegedly grabbed the victim's phone as he tried to leave.The defendant then "tried to open the door and scream for help, but before he could, Christian grabbed him and threw him to the ground."Barmore is said to have grabbed the victim's shirt by the neck.Barmore also allegedly told the victim he was going to "f--- [her] up" his cousin.
"[The victim] was afraid that someone would be hired to harm her and make her life miserable. [The victim] stated that she had heard Christian men threaten people by saying that they could hire someone with the money they had."About a week later, [the victim] sent me some text messages between her and Christian. "These are old messages, but she wants to see them, but they say what she can do, especially when someone is hurting her."
Barmore was charged with assault and battery on a family/family member.The alleged victim also said she wanted nothing more to do with Barmore.
Barmore was indicted on February 3, five days before Super Bowl 60.The Patriots could get the best seed in the AFC this weekend.
"The New England Patriots are aware of reports of a planned indictment in February against Christian Bammore arising from an alleged domestic event in August. The Patriots were aware at the time of the incident and had informed the NFL in a timely manner," the team said in a statement."The issue remains part of an ongoing legal process. We will respect that process, continue to monitor the situation closely as we have done over the last few months, and fully cooperate with the league. We will have no further comment at present."

Barmore's attorney released the following statement:
"We are confident that the evidence presented will prove that no criminal proceedings have taken place. Based on the facts and the law, we expect that this personal matter will be resolved in the near future and that both parties will proceed together."
News of Barmore's allegations comes just a day after it was revealed that a friend of Diggs choked the chef for money earlier this month.The woman told police that Diggs "punched her in the face," tried to push her away and then "tried to choke her by putting his elbow to her neck."
