But Kaufman-Renn, who positioned himself under the basket, scored the game-winning bucket, giving himself 20 total points to help Purdue advance and keep their tournament dreams alive.

There was some discussion on social media, however, and a potential foul was shown when a shot from the tip of Kaufman-Ren from the top caught the arm of a Longhorns player who was diving for a rebound.
Anyway, no whistle blew, the Boilermakers celebrated, while the Longhorns couldn't believe their season had ended this way.
It was a back-and-forth game on the pitch throughout the 40 minutes as both teams took advantage, especially in the second half.Purdue's biggest lead of any team was just seven points, while the Texans never led more than four.
But that's because both teams shot well, with Texas making 52% of its shots (29 of 56), while Purdue made 48% (30 of 62).
Looking further into the scoring, each Boilermakers starter has 10 points, while Fletcher Loyer (18) and Braden Smith (16) will play a key role in the backcourt to help the cause win.
Meanwhile, Texas' Tramon Mark left it all out on the court, shooting 11-of-15 for 29 points, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc.Swain also fell short of a double-double with nine rebounds, while dishing out five assists.

Purdue now awaits the winner of Arkansas and Arizona to see who they will have to play to earn a spot in this year's Final Four, which will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
