A fan is in critical condition after falling off the deck during an NHL game.
The incident occurred at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh after the Penguins scored their second goal 55 seconds into the first period of their 6–3 victory against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Pittsburg police said post-Gazette falls on the Suite level and hit a person in the middle of the fanb walk.
The fan was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said that the team found out after the incident.
"[It's not right] to talk about points when we hear something like this," Crosby told the paper."So obviously our thoughts and prayers are with this person and their family, and I hope they're OK."
This is at least the second incident of a person falling from the stands at a Pittsburgh sporting event this year.
During the Pirates-Chicago Cubs game on April 30, Cavan Markwood fell from the right-field bleachers and onto the warning track. He was hospitalized in serious condition.
