Robert Dorgan, who also goes by the name Roberta Esposito, opened fire Monday at Dennis M Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.Police said the 56-year-old killed his ex-wife Rhonda and their son Aidan.He also wounded his parents and a family friend.Dorgan died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound when someone intervened.
Amanda Wallace-Hubbard, Dorgan's daughter from another relationship, said: "I want to make sure people understand that this is an insult to their family."
"We were targeted. It was very specific. It was not random," he said.

Wallace-Hubbard was sitting with her two children with family when her father began shooting.
Speaking about the mediator, Wallace-Hubbard said: "Until he stopped this Good Samaritan, I was really afraid that my children would be next."
Tina Goncalves, Pawtucket police chief, said Dorgan had been to hockey games before so it was "not unusual" for him to show up.One of Goncalves' sons is playing this game.
According to Gonclos, the video showed Dorgan talking to his family before the shooting.The motive is still under investigation, but authorities say the attack was the result of a family dispute.

Court records show Rhonda filed for divorce from her husband in early 2020, when Dorgan underwent gender reassignment surgery.
Dorgan took two guns, which were legally purchased.It's unclear whether Dorgan has a permit to drive to Rhode Island, Goncalves said.
The three injured victims - Dorgan's brother-in-law Gerald Dorgan, sister-in-law Linda Dorgan and family friend Thomas Geruso - were in critical condition.
Wallace-Hubbard has launched a GoFundMe page for her two surviving siblings.The fund had raised nearly $200,000 as of Wednesday morning.
