Milwaukee Bucks guard AJ Green has agreed to a fully guaranteed contract extension worth $45 million with the franchise, agent Matt Bollero told ProMondo Sports on Thursday.
Green represents a successful Bucks success story as Iowa Loveried was approached in 2022 to be included in a two-way contract, then a regular deal and now a long-term deal.
The green foe still has Milwaukee's 2029-30 season covered by money the 26-year-old earned during the full-time campaign.
Green scored 541 points last season after scoring 406 points in his first two seasons, averaging 7.4 points per game.He is one of the top scorers in the league as a career 42% 3---point 3% on 3-point 3-point range during his entire NBA season.
Green only started eight regular season games in his career, but in the first round of the playoffs in April he was drafted to start 5 games and Green played 46 minutes. His playoff production increased by 11.0 points while shooting 51% from 3 during a strong postseason, which was followed by a spot in the starting lineup for all four preseason games this month.
According to Research, Green's 42.7% three-point performance was sixth-best among players who attempted at least 300 threes last season, and he made 44.9% on catch-and-shoot threes, fifth-best among players with at least 250 attempts.
