St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko has spoken out against a trade to the Buffalo Sabres, the league confirmed to ESPN.
The Sabers have a trade deal with the Blues to acquire Parik, but only if the defenseman waives his movement ban, sources said Wednesday.
Parayko, 32, is in the fourth year of an eight-year, $32 million contract.He recently competed with Team Canada in the Olympics and was a key member of the team that won the Stanley Cup in St. Louis 2019.
